Frequently Asked Questions

How to use Lightfern

Lightfern works straight out the box, directly in your email client. All you have to do is download and install here.

Ultracomplete

Whenever you're drafting or replying to an email, Lightfern will suggest text as you're typing.

  • Press Tab to accept Ultracomplete suggestions.
  • Press to accept a single word.

Inline Composer

You can use Inline Composer to get feedback on your current draft, summarize emails, or ask questions. It sees what you see, so there's no need to paste any emails or drafts into the chat window.

Just hit Command+L and go.

Where can I use Lightfern?

Lightfern is available for Gmail. Support for Outlook is currently in testing. To learn more about becoming a beta tester, get in touch at [email protected].

Why isn't Lightfern working?
